At left, sailors on the flight deck unhook a hoist from pallets of stores and ammunition delivered on board by helicopter from a nearby replenishment ship. [This makes the Personal Navigator homesick— I was doing all this over 30 years ago.  Some of the same carriers I worked with are still around, but they have newer helicopters and I hope the ammo is new!]
