The Boater's Basic Kit was our first Do-It-Yourself soundproofing kit. It is versatile and provides an adequate amount of sound reduction at an affordable price. The kit contains a 1" thick sheet of acoustical foam, and all the materials you need to complete an installation yourself.
In response to customer requests, we expanded the line of products, and several years ago introduced the Boater's Basic II, which is a thinner piece of foam with a lead-free barrier. It has become very popular as an alternative to the more expensive Yachtsman's Delux line.
